Purchased an impeller from Brownspoint for a DT65. Had about three to four hours on it and it was pumping good. Boat was taken out duck hunting with the temp around 15F after about a mile run overheated. Pulled the thing apart and the impeller was broke into three pieces. All of blades still had the excess rubber on the bottom and top just like new and completely intact with no signs of melting at all. The thing broke from the center out completely into three pieces. Has anyone else seen this happen. No metal at all in the impeller just complete plastic. I will post some pics later.

Sounds like it may have been frozen and when you started it being so cold it made it brittle and broke apart.
