Water pump issue? 3.0L Alpha1 Gen1

I recently replaced the water pump on my alpha1 gen 1 drive. I watched a bunch of videos while doing it and noticed that when I run mine on the muffs that I don't have nearly as much water coming out the prop as others. When I run it I get a little spray out of the exhaust prop, and then a bunch sprays out from the sides of the drive. Since I replaced the pump my temps have been lower 140-160 while on the water. before the replacement it was 160-180. Should I be concerned that there isn't much water coming out the prop while on the muffs? thanks.

You sure about the sides spraying, kind of sounds like the water is running out of the first thing it get's to, the exhaust relief ports.

Due to the design of the exhaust pipe, between the elbow and the transom plate, most of the water will run out of the exhaust reliefs on the sides of the gimbal housing, not the prop... What you are seeing is normal...
