HI, I recently purchased a belt driven engine mounted water pump for my 1987 Mercruiser 350 S/B. The pully which fits on the front of the pump shaft, is a bit off. What I was wondering is whether a hardened washer behind the pully assembly is ok. It spaces the pully assembly prefectly. Or do, I need to get a gear puller and pull out the round fitting that holds the pully assembly. Thanks Roman
