Water Pump Replacement

Hey all, I just picked up a 16' smokercraft tiller boat that needs some work (floor/carpet etc). It has a 40hp Mercury outboard on it, runs great but needs a water pump, its not pissing water. I checked to see if the tube was clogged, appears to be clear. Which water pump kit do I need for this motor? Its a 90's motor I am guessing, the SN is 0G096421. Are these pretty easy to replace also?

Look at the top of this page under Merc. parts. I like the Seloc manual which is up there too, which I bought usage time on the www over the OEM I had for my last engine. Some don't like Seloc. Matter of opinion.
