I just got done putting a new water pump in and replacing the thermostats. Before the replacements there was very little water from the tell tale at a idle but looked good as I revved the engine. The engine felt hot to the touch. Now there is a good tell tale at idle but as I rev the engine the stream becomes some what intermitent. The engine feels alot cooler now.

I checked the head temps with a laser thermometer. Before replacements it was around 150 to 160 degrees. After the new parts it is 110 to 125.

Did I do something wrong.Oh by the way this is all been done with a hose and ears in my driveway.

Thanks,Jeff

take it to the pond back it in and run it.maybe you dont have enough pressure on the hose to supply it.dont take it off the trailer, use the temp gun,bet youll be happy.
