I have changed the impeller on my motor but is still not pumping water through taller tail, is there something else that I should change since it is not pumping.

the key on the impeller is in place ? .put the impeller housing on and turn driveshaft clockwise as you apply pressure to install over impeller on greased impeller blades. check the the telltale hole is not clogged
