Water seperating filter

I have a 2300 seaswirl striper with a 200hp Evinrude Im going to install a Racor water seperating filter anyone out there have one installed on there striper if so where? I really dont want to mount it on the back of the transom.

Check out next month's issue of Trailer Boats for an article about testing various fuel filters.<br /><br />Mounting them depends on the boat's construction. You want it in an accessable location and it is best to be sure it is installed above the fuel tank level to avoid siphoning effect when you replace it, even with an approved anti-siphon valve.
