Water shooting out plug?

I’ve got a 50hp 1994 Evinrude on a 1994 Lowe 170.
all of a sudden there’s water shooting out of the hole that’s in the bottom of that plug in the picture? Any knowledge much appreciated!

Are you 110% sure that is a MERCURY motor ??-----Sure looks like an Evinrude / Johnson to me.------But take that plug out.----See if the nipple for the indicator / telltale hose broke off.----If so install a new fitting and attach the hose.

Appreciate the advice. So is that where a hose should run to back of motor to the “pee spout”?
