water spashing out around the gimle area

I went tubing today and as I was getting pulled aroun. I noticed water splashing out around the gimble. Is this normal, or is something wrong

If your talking on the outside the boat, then you are seeing discharge water from the exhaust, which is normal.

Yes, on the outside of the boat.

exhaust comes out from the prop and two holes on either side of the gimbal ring. water will be mixed in with the exhaust. you are seeing the exhaust gas bubble up and cause the water to move. you should see this even while idling. this is normal. what is not normal is when you see blobs of grease coming up from around gimbal ring!!
