I have a 1988 bay liner capri with a 2.3 and cobra stern drive. I installed a new uper gear case ,complete new pump assembley,lower water tube seals and corect clockwise rotation on impeler. Ran at 175 degs before but now temp gauge sees maybe 100. Felt feed hose and is pulsing and gets hot at 3/4 + thrd. Removed impeler and it was right. Checked thermostat and it folowed the corect opening curve.Air line on pump houseing is clear.Never had this isue before. Any sugjestion would be appresed TX.
