Water Temp Sending Unit

I need to know if anybody knows where I can find the part number for the water temp sending unit for a 5.0GXi-b motor . I also need the website of a vendor for such a part. I`ve got temp issues and am considering replacing everything until I find the casue. Thanks.

Look just above your post, see where it says Volvo Penta parts?? Click on it then go to OEM parts to find the correct PN for your particular engine.

As always, thanks Don, you are the man....however I have spend hours looking over those schematics and I cannot find a listing for the Temp Sending Unit anywhere. It is not listed in the Cooling System diagram which shows the Thermostat Housing where it screws in, nor in any other category. I did find some Sending Units for sale, but without a part number to match up, I am hesitant to order. I hate to keep asking, but I must plead for further assistance.

Trying to locate where my water temp sending unit is for Volvo Penta 5.0GL. Unit in thermostat housing is single lead tan with black stripe wire. Wire to temp guage on instrument panel is tan only. Wondering if the unit in thermostat housing is the temp alarm sender. Reason trying to find is I'm getting no input to guage.
