This is probably a stupid question. Is there a way to test a motor under torque other than taking it to the water. Tired of taking it to the water after I think I find the problem only to load it back up and haul it back, always sounds good in the tank, on the water under tourqe is a different story

No, not a stupid question. The only method to do what you're asking is to have a factory designed test prop (a weird looking thing) but unfortunately you would also need a good size test tank in which to run the engine.

Now..... Explain your problem in detail, leaving nothing out. Hopefully we can shorten your period of frustration.

Thanks Joe. I already have a thread going about the engine and my troubles. 9.9 wot problems so I wasn't trying to start another one and get flagged or something.
