So im just curious is it normal to have water always sitting in the back of the boat? I pulled the drain plug but there is still space under it that is holding water. Do I need to manually pump it out or is there something off with my boat? Its an 07 Legend xterminator

It's impossible for it to drain completly. If it bothers you,mop it up with a spounge.

Yes, that is normal - the drain plug is typically set slightly above the bottom of the boat, so it is usual to have a 1/2 inch or so of water in there. When you trailer your boat, make sure the front is raised slightly, so that as much as possible of the water can run out.

ok thanks guys! I figured it was normal, but just wanted to make sure I didn't have a drainage problem.

pull plug on ramp (SET EMERGENCY BRAKE and if possible have someone in the vehicle with foot on brake).
