I have What I would guess is a late 1930- 40s Water Witch, 1cyl, and I would guess 3hp +_. It has been painted. I can`t find a Mod.- Ser. tag any where. Any ideas where to look.
Contrary to popular thought this thing runs great, although I would admit to the fact that it ain`t very pretty. Thanks, VH

F R,
Thanks for the note. This may be the only running WW on earth. I remember my dad cussing a 3/4 hp when I was a kid. VH

stevenj,
Sorry to take so long to thank you for the info. I haven`t checked this thread for a couple of days.
I did see a no. on the cyl. but figured it to be a casting no. I`ll post it and see what happens. Thanks, VH

Hi stevenj,
This WW has 62591 stamped or cast into the crank housing on the tiller side. Nothing on the jug. The water discharge is a 3/16th hole drilled in the back of the jug
The crank housing is finned on both sides which is odd for a water cooled motor. Having been painted there are no decals left if there ever were any.
The rope sheave is lacking any marks. Thanks, VH
