I have never been on a boat that had these but this came up awhile ago and the numbers in the ad are obvously best case scenario.

I guess they do work fairly well but don't expect to double your speed or whatever they claim in the ad.

Try a search of the FAQ and see if you can find it.

Yes "WaterDR", I installed one on our 2005 24' Starcraft w/ 90 hp Merc. Basically, it did what they said it would. Gained 5-6 mph under the right conditions, but developed a vibration issue throughout the barge especially at the helm. Never could eliminate the problem. If you search for the thread, you should find it.

Interesting...I am thinking of adding a third toon and came across their product. They make some wild claims. The concept seems sound. But I can see where placement and the multiple types of pontoons out there would make for a lot of variability.

from what I've seen, they work as advertised BUT it may take alot of trial and error to get it "right".
With the availability of scratch and dent pontoons lately the 3rd pontoon route is defiantly the way to go and you may even find a nice one with a built in fuel tank and everything for a good price.
