Waterproof CD player for 13' Boston Whaler

Well, It's a 13' 1986 Boston Whaler with a 25HP Johnson O/B I'm probably getting....<br />Anyhow, I need a CD player that can play music, a boombox, pretty loud if possible.....but if it gets wet, I'm guessing it's going to ruin right away, the saltwater will destroy it. <br />Something for around $75 I'm guessing, cheap as possible.....If I cant find one, what will I do? Put a regular one in a watertight case? I don't want to take up alot of space, the boat is 13'.....<br />Thanks everyone! Hi SeaMaster711, the easiest and cheapest way is to put your boombox in an oversized decent quality plastic bag and seal the end with a bread bag twist-tie, sea spray stays out, the sound isn't compromised and the extra size bag allows easy access to the controls, works fine.

A CD player? On a WHALER?<br /><br />CD players are for Bayliners, so they can listen to music while they wait to be towed in after the Force croaks (assuming that the B'liner is still afloat). <br /><br />Listen to the gulls and the sounds of the sea, Vic. Listen to a striper nail a surface plug, drags screaming, blues snapping their jaws if you get a finger too close.<br /><br />That is the symphony of the seaman. <br /><br />Save the recorded stuff for home or the car.
