waterpump hose

this may have been beat to death on here but i cant find it but there is a small hose that hooks to the impeller housing under the cover on omc outdrive. can some tell me where it goes to down in the foot? mine is leaking water out the cover and i cant get that hose out of the small hole that goes to the foot. it feels as if its hooked to something down there

all i can tell ya is its a 92 4.3 omc cobra outdrive. i have seen the pictures of the inside of it but i still could not tell what it hooks to

It doesn't hook to anything. You really don't even need it.
