Tired after a day of buffing the hull.

The burgundy came back nicely. Plan is to splash her next week.

Thanks. I was concerned that the burgundy was going to be difficult to bring back.

You did that by hand? Count me as impressed! Although I think a power buffer should be your next boating purchase!

Very nice Danielson (said like Mr. Miyagi). I only see the admiral doing any of the buffing...if there are no pics of you, it's merely a "story"

Nothing better looking than a freshly waxed hull!

I was at the operating end of the buffer. The admiral is applying a coat of wax to the results.

Looks great. What buff, polish, wax did you use? Did you do anything different for the white than you did for the burgundy?

3M products work great. I used the Imperial Compounding and Finishing material. Kind of expensive but gives good results. I've learned in the past if you don't follow up with a quality wax the oxidization will come back more quickly. We used Meguiars (sp) after the machining.

The white wasn't in nearly as bad shape as the burgundy so it didn't take as much work. I should have taken before and after pictures.
