The top of my bow where I stand to get the anchor and such is oxidized. It is the only part I have not buffed out. Once I buff it out, I am told to NOT wax it, because it will be dangerous. So my question in once buffed, how should I keep if good?

I hope this topic fits here as your knowledge of proper products are vast.

Also could add some teak wood strips for grip or something of that nature.

Or the deck shoes!

Prep and roll on some Gel with some Xcoarce griptex :) ..

Or..you can be real careful when pullin up your rode ..

You still have to be slippin and sliding to get to said anchor on the deck right .. Be Careful and Dont take it too fast.

Foot hold to foot hold .. or your wife will bring your boat in with some damage ;) ..

Shiney and slippery go hand-in-hand . . . that is why I like to send someone else forward to pull the anchor. :D

I put some non-skid strips down on the foredeck so that you can move forward with some degree of safety. I got the colored ones to match the color scheme of the boat. Looks OK.

X2 gum rubber deck shoes... I think that's why they call them Deck Shoes.

$26.00 for a Cup ? WOW lol ! :)

It says that "nothing sticks to it" .. but then it says "feet will not slip" ? I wonder if they are using deck shoes.

YD.

did mine on Sat.
Had a 5 year old on board running everywhere and 8 teenagers
not one person slid (bare foot and with shoes)
When applying it it is slicker than a minners P@#& so be careful
after you buff it off its perfect (with towel)
1 cup
I have a cuddy with ESP
The whole top of the boat has non skid
takes about 10-12 squirts to do the whole boat
The bottle will last me 3 years

Finished surface..hmm ... Well I talked to the woody wax dudes and they said the product will not make it any less or more slick then it was prior to application.

They also suggested you use it basically every time you wash the boat every few weeks .. Just FYI.

As already suggested a good pair of boat shoes/footies can save you an injury. ( mainly a back injury )

Happy boating.
