Hi everybody,
I want to get a weekendr trout boat for our electric motors only lakes we have in new mexico.
I really like the look of the Lund WC16 DLX.
Any information from owners is a big plus.
Any ideas as to a proper trolling motor,graph and battery setup will be very helpful.
I was thinking 2 deep cycle batteries,1 for trolling motor only and the other for graph/running lights/bilge/livewell
I dont know if I need 2 and it would be great to save 150 bucks by not getting 2 batteries.
Basically i want an electric only rig thats worthy enough for Elephant Butte as well as
Quemado or Bill Evans Lakes.{no gas motors}
ok guys,thats all i got for now,and since this is my first post Id like to say
Hey All...lets go fishin!!!

Welcome aboard desrond:) can't go wrong with a lund, there great boats. I like the idea of 2 batterys. If one goes down at least the other might get you back in. I do alot of trolling with just a 12 volt system with a 50 lb. thrust minkota. I can get about 4 hours @ around 2-3 mph. But i'am pulling some dead weight with a 50 horse outboard on back. Your boat should be alot lighter. As far as electronics go, I have been happy with my eagle 600c. color unit. Post in some of the upper forums here for more info on motors and fish finders. Also do some searchs this is a great place for info.

Can't go wrong w/ lund. My 1974 lund is still better than many on the market today IMHO.
