Yesterday we had the starting of an open "storm door."

Late yesterday afternoon/early evening, San Francisco Airport recorded a wind gust of at 71 MPH. During that time frame, Angel Island, near Alcatraz Island, recorded a wind gust of 98 MPH!!!

Today, during and hour and 15 minute window, a Tornado Warning, not watch, was in effect for the town of Fairfield, east of San Francisco and West of Sacramento, (the state capitol).

Just now, 5:50 PM, PST, there were two funnel clouds sighted about 75 mile's south of San Francisco.

Other than thunder, lightning, hail and quite heavy rain, it's winter as usual out here, with some Bay Area town's expecting 6 to 8 inches of rain, in 24 hrs.

This doesn't count the small earth quake's that occur daily here. Those daily quakes are less than 4.0 on the Richter scale and mostly on the left half of Calif. (Left?, go figure)

... Bob, in the "what's next state"
