AQ131... I have installed Hot Sparks ignition, Beru Blue coil, and new wires. I cleaned the plugs and all the contacts on cap and rotor. I only get a weak yellow spark. Sometimes no spark but I think that is do to the plug not being grounded well when testing. I don't understand why I don't see blue spark. What am I missing?

You remove all the old wiring and components?
The voltage into the coil?? Should be 9v.
Try putting the old coil and points back in and see what happens?

Wouldn't start before the switch over. That's why I started buying new parts. I pulled points and condenser, left the old condenser wire hanging. Instructions said not to put tach. wire back on until timing was set. I tested volts at coil and I think I remember getting 12v. Haven't replaced the resistor. I just read another post asking if resistor should be removed. Old Bosch coil needed it but I replaced with Beru Blue coil (recommended by Hot Sparks). Maybe it has internal resistor? I'm learning as I go. Unfortunately, spending as I go.
