Hi All,
Looking for guidance as to where to find some information about the following questions I have:
1) on my vhf radio, I have 10 Wx channels, weather channels of course. From the Boston harbor, I use channel 3 on the Wx band, I was up in NH yesterday, and threw it on for giggles, 3 did not come in but 7 did, and it was for central and souther NH. Where would I be able to find a list showing which channels are for which areas?
2) Where would I find info about jet streams up here in New England. I know the weather changes so often, one day I could have N winds, then next S winds in the same spot, but general jet streams.
3) how about water currents? I believe the current of the ocean flows up the east coast, then when it reaches the Maine area, it breaks off toward Europe. But any good info you guys can give would be appreciated.
Websites or books or anything with material would be great, along with iboat'er insight.
