web site 4 starter parts???

Hello, hey does any body know of a web site where they sell parts for a starter(spring, nut)for my 1979 evinrude 55hp? Thanks....

i dont know of a web site but, I had lost the nut and spring on my merc starter a few weeks back. I took it to the auto electric guy here in town. Beaufort auto electric. and he replaced it, checked the starter and only charged me $10.00<br />perhaps you have someone like that where you live. I hope this helps. Randycc58

Randy, I have the same problem you had, I wish I could take it to some one like you say!!! I think thats great that he fixed it for $10.00 dollers I have to look for some one like that, in my town!! Thanks for your reply!!
