Weber AFB carb kit NAPA PN# needed

I need to rebuild the Weber AFB clone on the 22 Caliber. <br />The best price I can find on the official Mercruiser kit is $83.25, which I think is outrageous for a freaking carb kit. <br />Anyone have the NAPA equivilant? We tried to look it up today but all we could find were #'s for Quadrajets... <br />Here is the info: <br /><br />Mercruiser 5.7 Alpha 1 260 <br />Engine SN# 0F067387 <br />Carb casting # 9661s2692 <br />Mercruiser PN# 809065

Thanks Dom, but they just list rebuilt Quadrajunks. <br />I have ordered from them before and they do have some great pricing from time to time.

Your serial shows a 5.0L M2 Mercarb.<br /><br />The 9661s number is what gets me. Mercs had the 9781s Webers, and the 9780 on the big blocks.<br /><br />Your local NAPA store should be able to get you a kit.

Here is the correct Merc parts kit:<br /><br /> http://www.mercruiserparts.com/ <br /><br />It would be pn# 809065 for the 9661 series of carbs.<br /><br />It's the original engine and carb. Searching mercruiser parts online by serial number shows it as correct, a 5.7 Alpha 1 260

We spent a lot of time today in NAPA searching the books (good store) but every 4bbl listed was a Rochester

Sierra has two kits for that ABF Carter half the price of napa. Napa buys from sierra. Telflex owns Sierra now.

The NAPA #s are,<br /> 18-7748,list is $97.86,jobber $54.63 <br />or 18-7749, list is $90.56, jobber $50.56......<br /><br />I suggest you look at the Hot-Rod catalogs(Summit, Jegs, etc.) for a Strip Kit........<br />Then you can Really Super Tune your Carb. to Your Boat........

If its a weber carb you have, check out the edelbrock carbs kits also, you can get a calibration kit which has a couple of different metering rod and jet size's that will allow you to tune your carb for best performance, the Edelbrock carbs are webers, but their kits are also good for the AFB carters.

18- numbers are Sierra numbering system. Find a Sierra source and you will find that kit alot cheaper than Napa. Napa puts there markup on it. You can keep Napa out of the loop.

Once I learned they are Sierra part #'s Ichecked Iboats pricing on the kits-<br />WOW!!!<br />They are more than kits from Mercury!
