So I picked up a nice wellcraft with only around 100 hours on it problem is the boat sat for five years. After getting the boat home essentially everything had to be gone through every seal every bearing was replaced. It has the 5.7 L 350 V8 thunderbolt motor. I got it running completely rebuild the outdrive but after it idled for a few minutes it got choppy so I shut it down. After digging around in the carburetor for a little while I realized I was just going to purchase a new one. When I took the carburetor off there wasn’t the traditional gasket one would think. There was just a rubber seal inside of a cut out and nothing else. I’m wondering with my new carburetor do I just reuse that or do I put a gasket over it as well. I can’t find that seal anywhere online for sale And I can’t find anything about people removing these carburetors off 350 motors to compare what I have so any help would be great thank you
