Weed shark?

I've seen these on smaller outboards over the years and was contemplating rigging something similar, as these haven't been produced for years. Can't find much info, besides the fact that it is sharpened, high-grade steel, epoxied to the gearcase so that the inner/leading prop edge is very close to the blade..cutting weeds off as you go. Any info/tips for rigging? Did the originals actually work? Thanks!

Dam glad you brought this up as I have the same question. The subject does not seem to get a lot of rises, but lets see. See my post below on OMC weedless "Black Mamba" outboard. It uses a old OMC Johnson/Evinrude prop that I got a hold of that was NOS (New Old Stock) and completely like new and works like a charm are both low and high speed.
