going down the drain. It has rained here for the past 5 days. Temp got up to 68* today. Water has got to be colder than a ice-cube. SO, guess I will wait another week. :(

What's your weather like ???

We just went "up" to 68 today. Was supposed to rain. Actually was sunny, but a bit windy. Talking possible severe storms tomorrow and 80. Didn't have any plans except little projects around the house, so it's all good.....

Re: Week-end plans, .........

It's been stinkin' hot here and it's early....sheesh. I'm talking the gulf is already 85 degrees, pool feels like bathtub water and you can collect the humidty with a bucket and a pail. We've forgotten what rain looks like. When they say "Sunshine State" they're not exaggerating.

On a positive note, however, we've been "out" most of the year already when it comes to the boat. Although, I'd be willing to trade you a few of our days for a couple of yours. Not a lot, but enough to at least get the lawn green-ish.

Talked to a guy who was fishing locally today. He said the water was in the mid 50's....

looks like i'll probably stay home too. the temps are finally coming up. was 72 or so yesterday. supposed to be in the 80's today and tomorrow. rain today in the AM. then turning breezy in the afternoon. tomorrow is gonna be windy. forecast reads sustained winds at about 30mph. gust to 40.. that'll turn the lake into at least 2' white caps... bet that'll keep folks off the lake.. i'm gettin kinda tired of the wind too. i've been out 5 times this year. all have been windy days. no less than 20mph winds. a couple times they been in the 30 range... all them big waves are getting water spots on my boat... i'm ready for a calm day..

good thing is. i washed the boat yesterday and will do some other minor cleaning work to it. maybe have a beer while i'm playing...
at least i'll have a safe weekend..

It's 8:30 a.m. and the temp is up to 73*. Windy as all get out. Guess I will get a glass of ice tea, uncover the boat. Set in the seat, turn on the radio, and pretend I am on the water !! :(

Woke up this morning to 41 degrees and light rain with wind. I haven't even uncovered my boat his year. We drove out to see the water spilling over at the dam from so much rain and snow this year. Only thing I managed to accomplish is to help out the local county with a speeding ticket fine. Looks like maybe next weekend. For now I geuss I can work on the new trim in my house.

Gonna be 93 and sunny with light winds today, the water temp was 83* on lake Logan Martin yesterday.

We're 3 3/4 inches shy for our monthly rainfall amount, everything is bone dry.
