My max capacity for people and gear is 1200lbs. If I add a swim platform(90lb) and wake tower (50-60lbs), will this reduce my weight capacity to 1050lbs?
The useful load on aircraft includes the weight of fuel, figured at 6lb per gallon for avgas. If you want more people, you have to carry less fuel. You could figure your fuel needs at 1/3 to; 1/3 from; and the final 1/3 for a reserve.
Just like aircraft, boats have a finite amount they can carry.
