Anyone know the exact or even close to weight of a 1970 Mercury Kiekhaefer 650, 4-cylinder outboard?

In 1975 the 3 cylinder 650 at 65 HP was listed in the Mercury brochure at 183 LBS.-----So I doubt the1970 4 cylinder 650 weighed in at 173 LBS.

Thanks gentlemen. The reason I'm asking is that I I finally got the temporary trailer registration and I want to be sure about the total load on the trailer. I had originally ballparked the total load at around 1,100 lbs, so I'm clearly off. Looks like it's closer to 950 lbs (the boat weights 765 lbs). I've got a total load capacity on the tires of 1,350 lbs. That's enough for gear, fuel, etc.

I always used to say if boat weighed say 2000 LBS , you need minimum 3000 LBS trailer.

Everything worked out fine. I got the boat and trailer to its destination, about a 2.5 hour drive. I had about 25% spare load capacity when I made the long drive. From here, getting to the water is only a 5-10 minute drive.
