Weight of the lower unit?

I have a 1988 force 125 that I need to change a few things out on. I'm going to put a new exhaust seal in it and while it's out go ahead and change the impeller also. Since i've never done this (just using the instructions in the sticky), how heavy is the lower unit? I'm pretty much working by myself and was wondering if I can rig something up with a small jack and help lower it down or if I might be able to wrestle it myself? Just curious before I tackle it by myself when the parts come in.

Thanks,
josh

You will defiantly need someone to assist you. The hardest part is aligning the shaft, water pipe, and bolts while holding up 100+ lbs lower unit. It took me about 45 minutes with my friends help to get everything set correctly.

You people always ask those questions that peak my interest and get me to run down to the garage!

A complete lower unit with oil but without prop weighs 41 pounds on my trusty bathroom scale.

Well, I was looking for a roundabout weight but I guess Franks answer will suffice. Thanks Frank:D
