weight on a 84 22ft grady?

what do you think a 22 ft 1984 grady white with trailer would weigh? just wondering if my grand cherokee 3.7 would be up to the task with out dropping its tranny

What type of Grady?

NADA has a few 1984 22' GW boats listed around 3700 lbs. Add 1000 lbs for trailer and a few hundred for misc. 5000 - 5500 lbs total, and very likely over the limit.

A small V8 can handle it. A medium-sized V6? Doubt it.

edit: 3500 lbs seems to be your limit.
