Weird Starting Issue

So a couple weird occurrences on my Four Winns Freedom 180 over the last 2 weekends when taking the boat out. Last Saturday I drop her in, prime the engine and does the usual just about starts but stalls and she usually starts on the second crank. Well this time I go to turn it over and absolutely nothing. No cranking or anything. Like dead. Take the key out and wait a minute and then she fires right up. The next day I take it out on Sunday and no issues. Today I take it out and same thing. Dead on the second crank. Take key out and she’s good on the third try. All the while on the water I never have any issues. I have an onboard battery charger that charges the starter as well as the deep cycle I use solely for the amp when we are anchored. Only thing that’s consistent when it happens is when it’s coming off the charger. Bizarre I know but weird it’s so consistent. Any ideas?

Just happened to me. Bad solenoid created a short on me. No electronics would work when it happened.
