Thanks guys! The boat was in rochester NY but now resides in central PA. the lake is curwensville lake if anyone is familiar with the area.

she's in pretty decent shape. needs some floor work done and the paint could use a fresh coat. but all in all she looks good from a few yards. the kids love it and so do I! what a change a bigger boat makes. i'm used to running around in smaller boats and sticking to the shore lines and not venturing out too far in to the lakes. but man, it like a whole new experience once you can get out in the open water and know your in a boat that can handle it.

besides the jump in fuel expense:eek:, i couldn't be happier. just joking, it's not really that bad.

Super nice boat! Love that modified splashwell with the jump seats. Good use of space on a potentially cramped closed bow. Welcome to the Starmada! Where are you located?

Nice boat Zigzag. You have passed the first requirement of pictures. CB will have to take care of dues for you since he welcomed you first:D Since you were only used to smaller boats, you have to learn to master the bigger one you have. Now lets see...how do you get that kind of experience....?;)
Welcome.:)

thanks guys!

i'm in central PA and the boat will primarily be used on sayers dam and raystown lake.

yeah, i don't know about the splashwell setup. i assumed it was factory. like i said, i just got the boat on a trade so it's new to me. it looks like it's supposed to be that way. i'll take a look at it agian to see if it looks fabricated and let you guys know.

Very cool. I'm in York and work in Harrisburg. I'm hoping to take my boat to Raystown for the first time this fall at some point.

Glad you found the photos, no thanks needed:)

I like your rig...that splashwell design is superior, I wish mine was setup that way too.

Hope the outboard decides to play nice, and welcome to the armada!:D

Re: Well, I'm in!! 1973 Holiday 18!!

thanks for the warm welcome guys!

i have to say...I LOVE MY CRAFT!!!

it's a blast. had my wife and kids out on it yesterday. that'd be three times in the first week i've had it! man it is so much fun cruising! i'm sold!

the kids (boys 2 & 4) love going fast and watching the wake behind us. enough room for them to bring some dinosaurs and cars to play with and the cooler packed with lunch.

we pick a good fishing spot, anchor off, eat our lunch and fish a while. pulled in a nice largemouth yesterday. the boys were so excited, i even talked the little guy into giving him a kiss!

memories are being made my friends!!.... the only problem is now i think i might have to pick up two more starcrafts down the line so i can pass one on to each of the boys and keep one for myself! uh oh! i think i have a fever!:D

you want to shoot lots of pictures of grinning kids NOW, so you can show them to your wife to justify the purchase of your next boat....

LOL I have the same "problem" and you have the right answer. Good thing these project boats are cheap eh!:D

We took out boat out about 3 times a week up until last week or so. Sounds like you guys have the same routine we do, and our two boys love it(same ages too;)).

I'm in denial that our boating season is ending:p
