If its any thing like our 270 sundancer, it should suck up the bumps good, we have found with our twin 260's that we can get 40-47 kmh out of them. but she sure likes the fuel when you push it.

I own one (Monte Carlo) for 2 seasons, can't complain. Very solid and spacious boat. Mine is powered by twin 4.3s, it feels a little under. Top speed is about 35-40 km/hr. As far as chop handling - didn't have much experience in those conditions.

I haven't been out in mine yet but I noticed that the rake of the bow is steeper than some and it flares out up high.. I'm thinking it will slice through the smaller chop instead of bouncing over it but just a guess at this point
as for speed I have been told around 40+ mph but not sure yet

We have had her for couple of years now, 30 foot overall, and 10 foot on the beam, which is nice as we try and do the boat camping thing, and I dont feel crowded at all, full camper bimini top/sides/windshield extensions.
The only thing that I would like to do is add a 3000w gen set.

I'm 6'4" and I have to crouch a little.... only time that would really matter though is when cooking..... also aft cabin is set up as couch and converts to bed.... I have room to lay there but can't sit upright... dinette makes bed and is plenty big for sitting and sleeeping and v berth is plenty big..... not sure whether I can stand upright in shower or not

Your in Norwalk but where is the boat?
You might want to inquire with a local marina or boat dealer at your end or at the boats end.
In our town there is at least one or two that have a boat hauling trailer that is universal with hydraulic actuators, etc. towed by a 1.5 or 2 ton truck.
They back under or maybe lower the boat and then the trailer bunks rise hydraulically to the shape of the boat.
They hauls boats professionally are insured and bonded, etc.
If your not going to need a trailer after you get it home, I would seriously consider hiring a pro boat transporter to handle it.
Especially if you do not have a proper tow vehicle. And if you go rent a trailer, will it fit your boat? It might have the capacity to do so but that does not mean it will carry any boat properly.
