They had jet cars there...unbelievable. 294mph in the 1/4 mile, something like 36,000 HP. Imagine strapping one of these babies to your boat! <br /><br />

zero to sixty in five seconds is a big deal ... these suckers go zero to 300 ... THREE HUNDRED MILES AN HOUR !!!!! in less time than that .... its mind boggling, I love it, after a night of jet racers its huh? huh? whadidja say?<br /><br />

Seen one of the jet cars set fire to the timing tower at Moroso once.. Whoops.. That was pretty cool..

They also had Bob Motz in his jet powered Kenworth semi. The blast from the engine bent a chain link fence in half about 50 feet behind the truck and the low concrete barrier was still warm half an hour after the run. It's hard to believe unless you see it yourself!
