My friend George needed a motor for his 14 foot welded Aluminum skiff so I fixed/gave him an old jonny/rude 25 & said bring me some fish, Well he did...... 256 lb Halibutt not bad for a old 25...jonny/rude yummmmmmmmy:)

Megaflounder! Must've felt like reeling up a sheet of plywood. Did he like the motor itself?

Yep He likes the old motor but puts way to much faith in it, He does carry a cell phone and a newer back up kicker, But still goes out alone and tangles with these monsters, He said he stuck it in the head/gills with a big knife to make it bleed & then waits......Not exactly sure how he gets them in the skiff. It don't show in the photo's but this fish was over a foot thick!

Well, don't worry about the antique Big Twin. If it's tuned right, it'll be more reliable than that "back up kicker" :D

Those old Big Twins were tough as nails and built to last.

Darned nice lookin Halibut.
