Ran through the post by plywood which is still going strong, and got to wonderin to musef, what ain't debatable?? Not being a big fan of debates, always seem ta' shove my foot in my mouth when I do, I got to wonderin', "What Ain't Debatable"?<br /><br />Here's some stuff I thunk up.....<br /><br />The Weather.....how can ya' debate the weather? It's there. Can't do nothin' about it. So may as well make the best of it.<br /><br />Mow'in the grass....it grows, ya' cut. What's ta' debate? <br /><br />Grandkids.....they are ours to spoil....no debate needed.<br /><br />Warm day on the river with she herself. She's catchin' fish, the beer is cold and she's lookin' good in a bikini. Now, what can I debate here??<br /><br />Long Vacations....self explanitory.<br /><br />PMS....Just agree....DO NOT DEBATE...if you value your health.<br /><br />Good friends here in the forums...ABSOLUTELY non-debatable.<br /><br />What else?

lol OBJ - i hope you know i'm totally against debating here. it sounds strange i know, but if you looked up my history, you'd see i've fought it, in the past.<br /><br />i'd hafta say that one thing that should never be debatable is - trying to be understanding of one another...<br /><br />oh yeah, havin a sense of humor - that will always benefit you too <br /><br />P.S. - i almost forgot - women in bikinis

Hmmmmmmm....let me conjegate this.....<br /><br />No work....no money, no house, no truck, no store boughts.....no taxes,,,no bills,,,,(this is lookin' better) no telemarketers.....wait....no boat....no motor....no fishin' tackle.......MY GOD homerr..yer right...work...no debate!!!! LOL!!<br /><br />Ebb...I couldn't agree with ya' more. Trying to be understanding of others is something there ain't enough of. But I gotta say, the short time I've been postin' here, I've seen some pretty heated debates. I gotta give the guys and gals credit, from what I've seen (read) they most all respect each other and each others opinions. I think that says a bunch about the folks here on the forum.<br /><br />And I do try my best at having a sense of humor....specially of myself!!

OBJ, there is one thing that is not debatable, and that is death <br /><br />You might do things to slow it down or speed it up, but it is non-debatable.<br />It will happen.<br /><br />Oh yea, them bikinis or thongs. YaHOOO!!!!

The weather- HMMM should we go in? Looks like rain. Naw it ain't gonna rain. How long is it gonna rain? Might let up any time now. Gonna rain for hours.<br />Mowing grass- Should I mow midday, afternoon or evening? How long should I let it grow? Should I do it now or go fishing? <br />Grandkids- Don't have any so I can't touch that but as a parent some things that grandparents do have to be debated.<br />Warm day w/herself etc- Can't debate that especially if there is a lot more eye candy around. (mine does not mind if I look but no touching not that I would want to)<br />Long Vacations- Think of all the work that piled up when I get back (her argument not mine I already vacation 2 months).<br />PMS- I can debate that because if she can go to work and do what she has to there then she should be a little more civil at home. You can't take out your mood swings on me just like I can't take a bad day out on you.<br />The friends part has already been debated that is why those left here or anywhere else like this are friends because a good debate is not about hard feelings but rather expressing your viewpoint on a matter.<br />BTW everything is debatable because even death while inevitable is debatable and if you don't believe that look at how all the religions of the world treat it. Heaven, Heck (cant use Hell), reincarnation or just plain end of life nothingness.

Hmmmm. <br /><br />Death.<br /><br />Why is it that folks who preach about heaven grieve so much when someone dies? Seems to me they ought to be celebrating.<br /><br />Come to think of it they also seem to be pretty afraid to die themselves.

JB,<br /><br />On a semi good note.<br /><br />I just had my 49 year old neihbor die after a 10 week battle with cancer. His wife said he went out with a belly laugh. He was ready, and at peace with his destiny.

Yeah, I think dang near anything is debatable. The mind is just like any other muscle--you need to excersise it to keep it strong and sharp.

well i didn't know whether to post - or not <br /><br />but since OBJ shined that ebb symbol over gotham city just when i was fishing in the cave pond, i had to come out again...<br /><br />oh no, i left my notes at the cave, so i'm having to wing it again... <br /><br />all i recall is that debating is for yuppies, thongs are for women, death is to be perfectly acceptable, and boating is to be yearned for. <br /><br /> and what is not debatable is how much we like iboats.com - lol
