I have set up a Carter fuel pump for the LP pump on my 2002 3.3L F225. I believe the specs are about 5.-7 psi, but want to make sure. The Carter pump I used puts out 10psi at low flow, and 1 psi at max flow of 37 gpm.
Also for later years, I believe Yamaha went to about 40 psi for the lift pump. If anyone has these numbers, it would be greatly appreciated. Carter has higher pressure pumps that should work for newer engines, but I would like to know the psi specifications.
I had some custom hose adapters made, and once everything is fully tested I will share the pump numbers and the supplier of the hose adapters. The overall length is 5/8" longer, but this was not a problem.
