What are these Cables?

Hi All,

1995 Evenrude 88spl. recently acquired. double checking a few of the open cables under the cowl to be sure. If anyone is able to ID them, would be most appreciative.

This one comes from the black plastic rectangular box at the upper back-near where the chain hook is:



this one is sitting down at the bottom rear..looks similar to above. Green and corroded--dont believe it was in use. TnT?


This one is coming out of the main harness, near the Big Red Plug. thought it was a temp sensor, but thats in place.


This wire looks to be coming from a regulator, to terminal #4 on this Terminal strip on the starboard side of block, I gotta fix-curious what it might be. Motor was running real even with this looking Not Good

I can't answer your question but an OEM manual could and I really suggest you get one, look on Ebay or you can get one here at iboats.

They can be a little spendy but are worth every dime when stuff like this comes up, do not get Clymers, Seloc or anything on cd.

Thanks, yes-ordered an orig manual. Long overdue.

No VRO, probably explains that one.
