What is the switch under my key and what is the 3 con for under that???? Thanks

the middle one is to add or release tension on the throttle lever....so if you let go it stays where it is instead of falling down and the motor throttling down.

if it is too tight it is hard to control push the throttle, if too loose it would be like a car gas pedal...you let go and you slow down.


the connector MIGHT be for tilt and trim...many motors dont have it...but the control is made to be used with all motors...

and the TNT uses three wires many times.

The three wire plug on that control is for a tach. I have the same one. The picture below shows the internal workings including how the knob you asked about applies pressure to tighten up the throttle.

One more quick comment and pic. The tilt and trim wires come out at the bottom of the throttle lever.

funny I have two of those controls and neither have been used with a tach nor a TNT unit!!
