What Bimini Height?

I'm thinking about adding a bimini top to my 17' bowrider. I'm wondering if anyone can give practical advice regarding how tall it should be. I was considering the tallest (48"-54") so everyone could walk beneath it. What are the pros and cons of different heights?

Well, I can appreciate tall biminis since I'm 6,4 and like some head clearance. But if it's too tall, the sun shade effect diminishes. It's a trade off.
