What boat do i own?

Hi,
My first post.

I just got a boat and I love it. but i dont have a clue what it is.

I think it looks american with that short end in the rear? doesent it.

Got info that it is from 1996. Its approx 540 long and 220 wide ( i live in sweden so its in cm )

any idea?

If it came from North America, it will have a hull id number on the transom, top starboard side, three letters and 11 numbers.

Such as str12653882296


It looks like a nice boat.

Did it come with documentation or ownership papers?

Hi. Check the upper starboard side of the transom for a number (HIN). That number will identify the manufacturer and year. Maybe hard to see. Post that number here and someone will tell you what it means.

Thank you guys for the help.
Dont have any documents other than on the outboard engine.
Did have a look but did only find this mark on the back of the boat.

Does this says anything?

Sorry, no idea what that is. If it is a '96 boat, and there is no HIN as described by Roscoe above, then the boat is not from North America.

Did nit have any luck seeking around on that brand. The name i got from the seller was that the boat was called "fisherman".

I copied your pics and posted them elsewhere, got a suggestion of an old Mako boat. ClassicMako Owner's Club

I saw a few that were similar, but I've left the question open for now and will post up if I get anything more solid.

Trying one more time again, any clue? Its not so important, but could be good to know if we need to search for parts for it.
