What boat to buy ? Glastron or checkmate ?

I love the sleek boats of the 70's and 80's . Im curently looking at a 1989 glastron ccs 16 (cvx 16) with a 125 force engine. I looks like the boat inside out in in mint condition.
Also im looking at a 1987 checkmate sportfire with a 135 merc. Both boats look like they are in great shape and both are a little over 16 feet.
I like the ccs 16 a little more and the price is a few hundred dollars cheaper but its the force engine im worried about. The checkmate looks great but the style is a little more outdated than the ccs 16.
Im not a great merc fan either.

love glastron buy i would be reluctant to buy one with a force on back. What year is the force? either way, id go for the checkmate with the merc 135...much, much more power and more reliable. you will love the merc v-6's by the way. they sound and run like no other. If both boats are in equal shape, the checkmate w/ a merc is a much better buy.
