Hi, I'm looking to by a new or near new boat. I really want to do alot of fishing with it, but I also have kids. So, I'm kind of looking at the triton 188 and the 190 fish and ski units. I hear things like they wobble at higher speeds. I like the crestliner 1750 and 1850. I also like the lunds. The crestliner and lunds seem to have a deeper V than the tritons. I have an older deep V boat and not sure if I'm willing to give that up. Is there any other boats that anyone can recomend me looking at. Can anyone give me more info on those triton boats. I can't seem to find to much info on them for reviews. Thanks for any help

1) go to a boat show and look at everything.
2) pick two or three that have the layout you like best.
3) set up sea trials in them
4) go home and sleep
5) buy the boat you just dreamed about.

Hi lucky guy buying a new boat. I wanted to but I liked the savings on a used one. Look at the Key West 186DC as that would have been my choice. Good all around boat. Good Luck. O.T.

Add Alumacraft to your list. They are every bit comparable to Lund and Crestliner and with fewer ties to the engine manufacturers, you can buy any engine you like from any dealer you like. Alumacraft can be ordered as a "No Pre-rig" boat. The boat contains everything a factory package would have but minus the engine.

I think I'm going to lean to a 190 triton fish and ski. Hope I'm not making a mistake on a lower V boat.

Carolina Skiff center console. Very safe stable platform for a lot of wiggly children to fish from, and for you to move around baiting hooks, unhookng fish and untangling backlash. They can spill their juice all over it and yo just hose it out.
