Something with a three year warranty and are you using it in fresh water or salt water? Do you want foot control? How big is your boat(amount of thrust)? Transom mount or bow mount? Want a fancy one or jus' plain jane model for light use? Minn Kota is good for fresh water and they do have salt models (Johnson Electric Company is VERY big company). For Salt only use I might lean towards Moto Guide......
