I fired it up for about 20 seconds and it ran fine. Went to give it throttle and it died abruptly. I couldn’t see any spark when I checked. There was frayed cabling going to the distributor from the switch box so I replaced it. Now the spark while cranking with the starter is very weak and barely visible. Same with if I crank the ignition driver with a drill in low setting which is supposed to spin at 315 rpm. However if I set it to 1500 rpm the spark is very strong and can jump an almost 1/2 inch gap. What could be causing the weak spark at low rpm?
