What can I do here?

I have this center beam on the trailer. The keel roller is all the way forward. Problem is the keel scrapes on this center beam on the way into the keel roller/bow stop. Any ideas? I'd like to add one of the wide self centering rollers or something there to stop the scraping.

Sorry for the low light pics. Should give an idea though. Any thoughts? Should I just put the trailer further into the water? I'm backing it in until the main bunks are just barely submerged.

adjust the bunks so that the bow sits a little higher.... add another keel roller..... try not backing in quite as far

Looks to me like your front keel roller is too far forward. Try moving it back to the center of the scrapes.

Makes sense. I'll look into that. May end up having to raise the bunks because I'm pretty sure the boat will sit higher.

Raising the bunks will make it sit higher, but could also make it more difficult to launch. Having the boat as low as possible on the trailer will allow the boat to be launched in shallower water..... Unless, all your ramps are deep. And there will be no need to back half the truck in the lake as in some cases.

Had the same thing happen a few years back on a boat/trailer combo I bought, just add another keel roller but make sure you adjust it properly, problem solved.
