The very first thread on this Force forum is a sticky tutorial started by Frank Acampora. When I checked it a moment ago, there were 0 likes for that thread. I added the first one. I suggest everyone who benefited from Frank's generous help in any way note that by adding a LIKE to the first entry on that thread. The number of LIKEs will allow us to count the number of people who were touched by him. I hope to see it in triple digits or more.

Here's a direct link to Franks post for easier access, http://forums.iboats.com/forum/engi...ds/616464-carb-and-timing-tutorial#post616464

He was one of the first people to help me on here, and his timing video helped me immensely when we got our Starcraft with its original 75hp Chrysler. He will be missed, and I too think he should be remembered here on the Chrysler forum in a special way.

Tutorial liked by the way. That's a great idea Tommy.

When I bought my chrysler boat with it's original 70 horse chrysler outboard in February of this year, his tutorial video was immensely helpful in helping me get the timing reset, and the motor running proper. I know from experience that anyone with his level of expertise will always be missed. RIP Frank, may you always encounter fair winds and calm seas.

The "like" feature was added a while after Frank posted that one.
He really knew the older motors.
He was a great help.
