what clear coats to use if any???

i have a 1981 privateer center console that i have almost fully restored it looks great but i am curious on what to about protecting what there i have painted 4 coats of rustoleum topside paint and looks good it is an oil based alkyd paint and have had a hard time finding a safe clear coat i want to be able to wax it and dont know if the paint is able to hold up to it any info would be great thanks

I used Rustoleum clear from rattle cans on my last boat and it did NOT hold up well at all.

Ayuh,... You probably Don't need anymore,... Clear or otherwise...
Let it cure til mid-summer, Then wax it...
